AEPS service is banned in pin codes –
As of my knowledge cut-off in 2021, AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) services were not banned in any specific PIN codes in India. However, the usage of Aadhaar-based services, including AEPS, has been subject to various legal and regulatory restrictions in the country.
In 2018, the Supreme Court of India passed a ruling that made it optional for individuals to link their Aadhaar number to bank accounts, mobile phones, and other services. This ruling has led to some restrictions on the use of Aadhaar-based services, including AEPS, in certain cases.
