What is the interest rate offered for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana?

The interest rate paid for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is reviewed and revised by the government every quarter. As of the quarter October-December 2021, the interest rate for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is 7.6% per annum. The interest is calculated on an annual basis and credited to the account at the end of each financial year. It is compounded annually and is tax-free.
